Finally a new entry after about two months! Even though I don't update this a lot I have been working on stuff, I've been working on scripting in Roblox almost every day since the last entry. It hasn't been too bad, it's very simple especially compared to other languages I've learned. I've made/done a lot of things such as:

A light that turns on/off based on time

Some pathfinding stuff

Constraints and physics

Even though I'm pretty excited to learn more stuff and make more things, I have had some worries about Roblox recently. So I'm pretty sure everyone and their mother has heard of this by now but Roblox has been making some really outright digusting choices lately, banning youtuber Schlep and making new rules to dicourage people from reporting/catching predators which is really insane. There's more to it than that and there are new updates to this whole situation almost every day so I'm not gonna get into it cause if you made it to this random page here where I talk to myself you probably know about the situation already cause you might've found this through the roblox tag lol. But this whole thing is so big even big youtubers from outside the community are covering this story, and major news outlets as well, and there's legal stuff happening too like it getting banned in some countries and some lawsuits of course. Which that is great, I hope it puts pressure on the higher ups to make better decisions for the platform to make it safer for everyone.

I've been playing this game for like a decade now and it's honestly pretty sad, like it was a HUGE part of my childhood and I'm still on it now. Kids should just be able to play, be creative and explore games SAFE FOR THEIR AGE. I have a lot of ideas for my dream game and I really care about this platform a lot, and I'm motivated to keep going because I want people to have the same great expierences that I did as a kid on Roblox. These are just my surface level thoguhts and I could connect this to many other topics but yeah, if this whole thing gets worse and worse maybe I'll have to make a game somewhere else, we'll have to see what happens.
